Motivating Workers: Leadership & Supervision
EOSH Module 4
Even with the best plans, procedures and systems in place, individuals at work still take short cuts and make mistakes. Sometimes, risk-taking behaviour is intentional, for whatever reason. In other cases risks may be due to a lack of understanding of a particular hazard and the associated controls or inadequate training. Motivation of employers, line managers and employees is key to promotion of occupational health and safety in enterprises.
This module covers the main principles of behavioural change approaches and initiatives.
