Establishing occupational safety and health management systems within the workplace is essential for continual improvement of the working environment and preventive measures.
This module covers keys aspects and founding principles of prevention that should take place in each enterprise such as: responsibilities of employers, risk management, prevention policy, workers involvement, as well as the role of Occupational Safety and Health and importance of its integration with other management systems at the enterprise.
MODULE OBJECTIVES
After completing this module, participants will be aware of:
- the importance of occupational safety and health for enterprises
- the compatibility of occupational safety and health with the financial objectives of the company
- the founding principles of a good occupational safety and health prevention policy
- the importance of the role of management in implementing safety and health in a company
- the specific tasks of management in relation to safety and health at work
- the principles and elements of a good dynamic risk management system
