Handling On-the-Job Injuries
Every employer has the responsibility of maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all who encounter the business’ facilities. What if an employee becomes injured on the job? Does your organization follow the correct procedures with respect to reporting accidents and injuries?
Thorough
investigation into any workplace accidents is necessary to help prevent
recurrences and to demonstrate to that appropriate remedial action has been or
is being taken. Accident reports form the basis for benchmark data, knowing
where you were and where you want to get.
This workshop seeks to ensure compliance of participating businesses and professionals by providing them with a framework to maintain internal records, and report to the appropriate external bodies. However, emphasis will also be placed on upgrading systems or facilities where possible, to mitigate future injuries.
